cyn.in desktop is Open Source software. Documentation for the desktop client’s source code is still a bit sparse at the moment, (that’s why it’s still called a beta) but we do try to help out as much as we can, do drop in a mail to us (email address is in the README.txt file of the source) if you’re looking to contribute in any way to the project.

Note: cyn.in desktop requires to connect to a cyn.in site to function. You can run your own cyn.in collaboration site from the open source community version or purchase an on-demand, supported hosted one from Cynapse. A cyn.in vmware appliance is also available.
